Get the MindRite: Step #3- Own

Own

If an athlete believes that a "growth mindset" truly works, and they use techniques that will allow them to consistently be focused on their development and growth, the athlete will own a "growth mindset." An athlete that owns a "growth mindset" will have great confidence in their abilities, a passion for their sport, a present minded focus, and they will be able to overcome "failure" within their sport. Possessing these characteristics, and owning a "growth mindset," will give an athlete the best chance of having a great athletic experience, optimal athletic development, and in turn have the greatest chance of having success in their chosen sport.
